The Regent Buildings

The Regent was a heritage listed building located in Cathedral Square. This was severely damaged in the February 2011 earthquakes.

Not only was the Regent surrounded by neighbouring heritage listed buildings, it’s complex design, poor access and a basement needed specialist propping to enable the deconstruction of this city landmark.

The dome structure and spiral staircase were successfully removed by us for Christchurch City Council Heritage.
